After the Hunt

Alma (Julia Roberts) is a brilliant professor of philosophy at Yale University. She has been a champion of feminist issues for years and is beloved by her colleagues and students. This includes her friend Hank (Andrew Garfield) and one of her PhD students, Maggie.

But when Maggie accuses Hank of transgressing after a night out, it throws much of Alma's life into disarray. They each tell their own stories. Alma has a close bond with both and is caught between them. What is truth and whose truth is it? While she struggles to decide who to believe, she also has her own interests at stake, which threaten to be compromised…

After the Hunt shows how feminism, generational differences, and cancel culture have been at odds since the MeToo movement.
