A heartwarming Irish coming-of-age story about Christy, a boy on the brink of adulthood. He moves in with his brother Shane and his budding family in a working-class neighborhood in Cork, Ireland, after his foster family has kicked him out. The brothers haven’t seen each other in a long time, and Shane views this as a temporary situation. However, Christy begins to feel more at home and is embraced by a small, tight-knit community. He also encounters negative influences from his past that Shane, with the help of the local community, wants to protect him from. Together they must come to terms with their turbulent pasts and decide what the future could look like.
