A Talent for Murder

A young literary agent travels to Switzerland to persuade the world-renowned The Talented Mr. Ripley writer Patricia Highsmith (Helen Mirren) to write another book in the Ripley thriller series. However, his attempts quickly take a sinister turn when it becomes clear that the quirky writer is playing her own psychological chess game. 

This juicy chamber play thriller is the first feature film by Dutch photographer and director Anton Corbijn (Control, The American, A Most Wanted Man) in over ten years. The film is based on the 2014 play 'Switzerland' and stars Helen Mirren, Alden Ehrenreich, Olivia Cooke, and Juliet Stevenson. The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
