Every year, a new generation of artists graduates at the artacademies in the Netherlands. Four years ago, these young artists began a course of study that has nurtured an attitude towards life in which art, design, and social relevance are at the core of their practice.
Some will continue their practice as autonomous artists, others will choose an educational-artistic approach, or ultimately take a completely different path. For all graduates, it is true that they have gathered and build a solid foundation for an attitude in which art, design, and social relevance take center stage.
Concordia is showing a number of these graduation works that symbolize the stance these young artists take in the art world.
