The fourteen-year-old Jamie loves cooking, is more overweight than sporty, and is insecure about his appearance. He goes camping for a weekend with his older brother Will and his favorite cousin Allie and her boyfriend Dan. While Will tries to set Jamie up with girls, Jamie isn't interested and fantasizes about being older and meeting Dan in the shower area. Jamie looks for every excuse to spend time with Dan, who is completely unaware of Jamie's feelings.
'Big Boys' is a subtle, sweet, and realistic coming-of-age film featuring an outstanding performance by Isaac Krasner as Jamie.
