
The understated, moving Blue Sun Palace, which premiered in Cannes, places us in the midst of the daily life of Chinese immigrants in Flushing, Queens. After a sudden, violent event, an unlikely bond develops between two immigrants.
About Previously Unreleased
All summer long, we will screen a new film every week in collaboration with Eye Filmmuseum that has been shown at prominent festivals both domestically and internationally, but has not yet reached Dutch cinemas. Eye believes this is unjust, as it brings a special selection of films from international festivals to the Netherlands this year.
