Brokeback Mountain

The overwhelming epic Brokeback Mountain, based on a story by Annie Proulx, won three Oscars, including Best Director. The film follows the lives of two young men, a ranch hand and a rodeo cowboy, who meet each other in the summer of 1963, after which an unexpected lifelong bond develops between them.
