The DOUBLET exhibition series showcases the work of two contemporary artists simultaneously. Concordia aims to explore how these artists relate to each other and what they can show and tell us through both the differences and similarities in their work. On Sunday, February 5, we will open the third exhibition in this series, where you can discover the exciting and versatile work of Heike Gallmeier and Roos van Haaften.

Roos van Haaften (NL, 1983) is a visual artist. With a background in theater and visual arts, she creates light installations: drawings with reflections and shadows. By projecting light through objects, glass, and mirrors, she creates new scenes and spaces that often have an ominous character.

Heike Gallmeier (DE, 1972) often uses the entire exhibition space as a canvas and combines found objects, materials, photography, and paintings. With these installations, she explores the boundaries between space and surface, object and image, chaos and order, and invites her audience to choose their own perspective.
