On Sunday, November 12, we will open the fifth exhibition in this series, where you can become acquainted with the exciting and multifaceted work of Lisa Sebestikova & Lenneke van der Goot.
Lisa Sebestikova
Lisa thoroughly explores spaces, both physically and conceptually. Her art includes site-specific installations, often combined with objects and paintings. Scale models play a role in her creative process, which focuses on recognition, deconstruction, and alienation. She strives for a dialogue between location and art, with attention to history, the present, and the imagination of the future.
Lenneke van der Goot
Lenneke visualizes complexity in drawings, installations, and murals. Her works depict accessible yet disorienting spaces with floating objects, multi-layered drawings, and multifaceted structures. She explores everyday life, urban bustle, and the duality of our relationship with information. Her creations, such as the Surface Tension Series, embody the intensity of visual stimuli and offer a metaphorical universe for understanding deeper reality, separate from literal representation.
