Welcome to the start of this special project, where the art space transforms into an open studio based on the idea of Plato's garden.
Concordia asked Planetart director Guido Bertling to translate his view of Enschede into an exhibition. His thoughts immediately went to the AKI, as a productive meeting space. Bertling used this concept to allow young artists, guided by peers, to develop new work on site.
On September 2nd, the artists will kick off, and you can be there to meet them and discuss their plans. On September 17th, the exhibition opens, and the artists will showcase the outcomes of their research and creation process. You are also warmly welcome to follow the process up close in the meantime.
