The Bride (Uma Thurman), a former assassin, awakens from a four-year coma after her former boss and lover Bill (David Carradine) and his Deadly Viper Assassination Squad brutally attacked her and her unborn child during her wedding rehearsal. Driven by revenge, she embarks on a relentless hunt for the members of the gang, with the ultimate goal of confronting Bill himself.
Tarantino is known for his love of film history, and Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair may be his most pronounced tribute to it. From the stylized sword fights to the iconic soundtrack and the use of various film styles: every scene exudes cinephile passion and creative bravado.
