Leaving Las Vegas (30th Anniversary)

Screenwriter Ben (Nicolas Cage) is an alcoholic without a future and without friends. After his wife leaves him and he is fired from the Hollywood studio where he worked, Ben heads to Las Vegas; the only city where the bars never close. During his nocturnal wanderings, he meets Sera, a young sex worker with her own scars. Both adrift, they fall in love and a fragile bond develops between two people who are both broken in their own way.
