  • Exciting Spanish thriller about family ties, loyalty, and sacrifice

Brother and sister Antonio and Estrella work as industrial divers for the rugged coast near the Spanish port city of Huelva. Antonio, better known as the Tiger, is fearless and unmatched underwater, but a mess on land. While Estrella sacrifices her own dreams to keep her brother afloat, Antonio's financial problems and health issues tighten their grip further. But then they stumble upon a stash of cocaine, hidden in the hull of a ship. What initially begins as an unexpected salvation quickly turns into a dangerous game that tests their loyalty and family ties to the limit.

Los Tigres is an exciting Spanish thriller about family ties, loyalty, and sacrifice. Director Alberto Rodríguez, known for the award-winning film La Isla Mínima, dives into the dangerous world of industrial divers with Los Tigres and weaves raw realism with a gripping crime story and an intimate family drama. The strong performances and spectacular underwater visuals earned Los Tigres several awards, including the Best Cinematography award at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
