How to write an artist statement. We'll give you tips and tricks!
Together with Patrick Mangnus and Vera Boertien we will discuss writing an artist statement: what are it’s intentions, what do you need to start, how does your text resonate with the reader, what should and shouldn't be included? Patrick and Vera will give their insigths coming from their own artistic practices as an artist and writer.
Send in your artist statement already!
During the evening there’s time to start writing and have your statement be read by a panel for feedback. If you have an exisxting tekst already and want to sent it in for feedback, pleas e sent it to: petra@concordia.nl. At the end of the evening we’ll read the statements together providing all visitors the chance to engage and learn.
