The Devils (re-release)

‘The Devils’, featuring Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave and Oliver Reed, is a timeless and unique cinematic masterpiece. With this groundbreaking, iconic film about obsession and corruption, the influential director Ken Russell has definitively made his mark.

The film is now being re-released, in the uncut and unfiltered theatrical experience that Russell always envisioned and for the first time restored and presented in 4K. The film's sound has been remastered from the original English 'Composite 35mm Mag' film (transferred to 96kHz) and supplemented with other original film elements where necessary.

This new 4K restoration of the film, compiled from the original camera negative, presents the definitive version of ‘The Devils’ from 1971, consistent with the edit Russell himself made in 2004.
