  • Gentle, elegant drama set in the Portuguese countryside. Nominated for three Goya awards,

This elegant, slightly melancholic drama adopts the tranquil pace of life on a quinta, inspired by a true story. The storytelling, with great attention to detail, is carried by the warm performances of Manolo Solo (Pan's Labyrinth) and the always fantastic Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction), complemented by a wonderful role of Branka Katić (Black Cat, White Cat) as a sparkling Serbian waitress with a free spirit.

The Portuguese House (Una quinta Portuguesa) premiered at the Malaga Film Festival and was nominated for three Goya awards, the most prestigious Spanish film awards.
