A wonderfully idiosyncratic romantic drama about millennial Julie (Reinsve), who seems to have everything, but - as is often the case in the films of Norwegian director Joachim Trier - still can't find happiness. Not at work, and not in love. As a result, she feels like the worst person on earth. Somewhat lighter than Trier's previous films, but still just as dreamy and melancholic, with an enchanting scene in which the world literally stands still for a moment for Julie and her new love Eivind. Renate Reinsve plays her first leading role in The Worst Person in the World and rightfully won the Best Actress award at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival for it.
The open-air film festival Movies at the Park is a collaboration between Concordia, Craft District Enschede, and Van Heekpark in Enschede. The films start around 9:15 PM, just after sunset.
The films are free to attend, but of course, bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed. The number of seats is limited, so be quick!
