Thelma & Louise

Thelma (Davis) and Louise (Sarandon) are both stuck in dead-end lives and disappointing relationships. To escape for a while, they head out together for a few days. During a stopover, the persistence of an unwelcome man leads to a violent escalation, after which the two friends must go on the run - soon pursued by the State Police and the FBI. A rock-solid road movie with a strongly feminist edge, and a superb film from director Scott. Davis and Sarandon are excellent, the film marked Pitt's breakthrough, and Callie Khouri won an Oscar for her screenplay.

The open-air film festival Movies at the Park is a collaboration between Concordia, Craft District Enschede, and Van Heekpark in Enschede. The films start around 9:15 PM, just after sunset.

The films are free to attend, but of course, bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed. The number of seats is limited, so be quick!
