Delightful satire with John Malkovich as a loose-lipped CIA agent in Chile's coup in 1973.
Shortly before the Chilean coup of 1973, CIA agents Chris (John Malkovich) and Lee (Sam Rockwell) are dispatched by their boss MJ (Steve Buscemi) from Santiago to Easter Island. Amidst the iconic images of the island, the longtime partners confront their dark past and the intrigues of the present. When Chris unexpectedly bonds with two rebellious students (Mariana di Girolamo and Ailín Salas), their stay in this remote paradise threatens to spiral out of control.
Wild Horse Nine, a delightful satire on American interference in global politics, is the new film from the creator of Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Banshees of Inisherin.
