Kore and Mira are hosting a workshop amidst their exhibition 'idem et idem'. The exhibition revolves around the theme of identity, which they explore in this public dialogue in relation to language.
“Language is not just a means of communication, but also an expression of who we are. Inspired by Maria Lugones' 'Hablando Cara a Cara/Speaking Face to Face: Muting and Disengagement', we will discuss in this interactive session how language relates to our identity and ourselves as individuals. We will examine how people adjust their vocabulary, tone, and even their way of thinking based on the company they keep. By moving between different social worlds, we navigate through language toward connection, intimacy, and difference, revealing how we can become multiple selves.”
